An ancient Egyptian scholar, statesman and architect, of the 3rd dynasty, who is also considered as a figure of medical wisdom and an alleged sun deity in the Coptic and Old Coptic Era. The name Imhotep has become synonymous with wisdom, knowledge, and the construction of pyramids.
