Neoplatonisms refers to a school of philosophy that developed from Plato’s ideas, emphasizing the concept of One (the divine source of all existence) and the process of emanation from this One to the material world. It has had a significant influence on Western and Eastern thought, including early Christian theology, Renaissance art and philosophy, and modern mysticism.
